The story about me and El Toro BBQ

In my youth my parents decided to travel, mostly cruise the seven seas.  They also forced me to try different foods from across the globe.  In the 8o’s, I started to create dishes that, for the most part, were cooked using fire and had some form of chili or spice.  In the 90’s I woke up one day and realized non of my friends could cook, let alone grill. I could not go through life eating shoe leather cooked with LPG.  So, my late father and I drove to Texas and purchased my first pit.   Almost a decade later I am still refining my style, learning everything I can about cooking with fire and purchasing or building new and innovative ways to cook meats.  This passion has developed into a full-blown catering company in Arizona that continues to grow each day.  This blog is a place where I can let my remaining few hairs down, have some fun and perhaps share some stories.  I hope you enjoy reading this blog as much as I do creating it.
